Luthando Maduna CA(SA)

Luthando Maduna is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience across the public and private sectors.

His career includes the Auditor-General of South Africa and serving as Director in the Finance Department of SASSA, with responsibility for the agency's financial statements. He holds a BCom in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting Sciences, and has been registered with SAICA as a CA(SA) since 2016.

His professional journey spans education, property developments, investment reporting, insurance, food retail and logistics — each sector adding a layer to one central insight: everyday spending is the most powerful economic asset communities already hold.

Led finance functions within one of Africa's largest social protection institutions, with responsibility for the agency's financial statements and reporting.

Built his professional foundation in public-sector audit and assurance, developing deep discipline in accountability, compliance and financial governance.
